Ice-dye has beautifully blended together colors. The edges of different colors are soft as they melt into another. Preparation and clean up is easy with this kind - different colors do not need to be pre-mixed and most of the action happens right on the fabric. Using ice, this is the simplest technique!

Bleach-dye (or, "reverse dye") allows you to add color to darker clothing. Dark fabrics can be brought to life by using bleach to do classic tying and dyeing methods. After bleaching, you can add color back in over or leave the bronze look. This is a unique technique for dark cloth!
